I feel like I'm in a revolving door

As a result of feeling a lack of motivation in life, I decided to read some of my past posts to see how God's providence has led me through my past struggles. Though this proved helpful, it also showed me how repetitive my life struggles have been. Consequently, I believe I am finally understanding exactly what God has been trying to show me for the past five to seven years.

Ever since I was little, as any typical little girl does, I have fantasized about engaging in a wonderful romance with a charming man. I always longed for that one person I could always rely on. With the "guidance" of all princess movies made, I came to believe that this romance, to which I was searching for, would/could only be found in a relationship with a human. However, after having just come out of a long term relationship, God has revealed that this romance I have been fantasizing about is a romance which can only be found in a relationship with Him. I know this may sound like a ludicrous statement, but it is true. Man was created to have communion and a personal, intimate relationship with God. It is in man's nature to yearn for this. Although I regret to admit that my dependency over the years has been in the men I've dated, it is because of these dependencies that I am now able to see God calling me to engage in a romance with Him. Therefore, even though I am still fighting against struggles I have faced over and over again for the past several years, I am finally able to look back and see what God was teaching me. Now that this is evident to me, finding my dependency in God is the next lesson.

The Summer

So most of you know that I went to Mexico this summer with the church; we had a great time, and we got a lot done!! Although the living situations weren't as nice as they have been in the past years, after a couple of days we became aquainted to calling it home!!! We arrived home around 1:00am on sunday and we all were happy to first, take a hot shower and second, sleep in our own homes!!! That monday my mom, sisters, Brian, Justin and I all headed up to Busch Gardens!!! Wehad a fantastice time there riding their new rollercoster The Griffon; it's AMAZING!!! We have only been once since then, last monday. We will be there yet again, the 13-15, when we go up to Williamsburg for our famliy vacation!! In between all this I have been working, trying to get in shape for soccer and doing summer assignments that my wonderful teachers at cornerstone decided to dump on me! This coming week I will be taking part in a soccer camp with my team at Rockbridge. All in all this summer has been pretty good, but I am terribly sad it is shortly coming to an end!! I am so excited about the Famliy Retreat, and I am waiting in anticipation!!! Hope everyones summer has been GREAT!!!!!

SORRY

So our comp. has Bsafe on it now and it won't let us get on blogger in fact I can't even view my blog!!! The lacrosse season was good!!!!!! We won most of our games this year !!!!! So most of you already know i went to prom with Beccah and it was fun!!!! I went to sixflags for the first time on thursday it was great!!!!! Yeah that is about it. Now you are updated so yeah!!! <3

Ephesians 1:3-14

3 Praise the God the Father of our Lord Jessue Christ for the spiritual blessings that christ has brought us from heaven! 4 Before the world was created, God had Christ choose us to live with him and to be his holy and innocent and loving poeple. 5 God was kind and decided that Christ would choose us to be God's own adopted children. 6 God was very kind to us because of the Son he dearly loves, and so we should praise God. 7-8 Christ sacrificed his life's blood to set us free, which means that our sins are now forgiven. Christ did this because God was so kind to us. God has great wisdom and understanding, 9 and by his own mysterious ways. 10 Then when the time is right, God will do all that he has planned, and Christ will bring together everything in heaven and on earth. 11 God always does what he plans, and that's why he had Christ choose us. 12 He did this so that we Jews would bring honor to him and be the first ones to have hope because of him. 13 Christ also brought you the truth, which is the good news about how you can be saved. You put your faith in Christ and were given the promised Holy Spirit to show that you belong to God. 14 The Spirit also makes us sure that we will be given what God has stored up for his people. Then we will be set free, and God will be honored and praised.

These verses make me smile!! It is almost like a burdon is lifted!! God has choosen us and no matter what we do or say we will always be. When we turn our back on God he will lead us right back into his arms!!!! Doesn't that make you happy and doesn't that just make you give a sigh of relief??? I know it does for me!!

Presidents day break !!!!!!!!!!:) 6 weeks til Easter break!!!!!!! 10 more week of cornerstone and then summer break!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!!!!!!

So I'm reallly happy !!!!!!!! Yesterday I got my "report card" from my Amer. Lit. teacher and I raised my grade from I think a high B to a 96%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooooooo happy!!!!!!!!! Especally seeing how that is the highest grade I have ever had in my writing classes!!!! Yeah that is my update. This week is going good so far. I haven't had any Basket ball but it's all good it's nice to have time to chill. The Waynes, Brian, my sisters and I all went and "played in the snow" it was extremely fun!!!!!!!!

So This Is What's New

So I have had two games this week one on tuesay, which we dominated, and one today. On tuesday the score was 51 to 2. It was a really good game for me. I got the most shots in then I have ever. My record was 4 shots. The sad thing is I don't even know how many Imade. I just kept putting then in, I guess I should find out. Anyways today the score was 27 to 20. My coach said we should have dominated the game which is true. They weren't all that good, but they were fast and in shape, they were ok with shooting, they made some three pointers, and the refs were horible!!!! Poor Mel got three fauls in the first half and then got, either her forth faul or fauled out. But she still always kicks butt and rocks my socks off. I'm so happy Megan Ronk got a shot today; I'm so proud of her!!!!! There was a lot more other great things but yeah I can't rememeber all. Well last week really stressed me out, but this week is treating me mighty good!!!!!!!! lol So yeah hope all is going good with who ever is reading this!!
